The Weekly Bow Tie

This is something that caught my eye the other day while I was pretending to be paying attention in class. It’s so simple and so stylish that I couldn’t help but not post it up for you all to see. The classic v-neck sweater with a twist! Once again, you can never have too many sweaters! This sweater is definitely one that I would consider as a casual choice though. You couldn’t really wear a collared shirt with this sweater since it has a little one already. Nevertheless it’s still major! And how great is the color?? I want this…Screen Shot 2012-12-06 at 11.35.33 PMBurberry Cashmere Raglan Sweater $995

The Weekly Bow Tie

The Weekly Bow Tie is a new feature that we are adding to Bergdorf’s and Bow Ties. Similar to What I Want Wednesdays, it’s a collection of favorite pieces that I’ve come along while searching for content for posts. Enjoy!

McQueen Satin Finish Skinny Jeans $685 & Raven Print Sweater $895

Alexander McQueen does it again. The raven print sweater and satin finish skinny jeans are perfect for a night out to a club or a nice lounge. They definitely deserve a place in the Weekly Bow Tie. What do you think?

Cross Bust Dress $1,050         Contrast Cap Sleeve Bandage $1,250

Herve is never going to go out of style, these gowns are absolutely flawless. Starting his French line in 1985, established himself with well-to-dos and high class society during the 80’s.

These sultry dresses hug a woman’s body in all the right places.

The trick with this gown is to ensure that you don’t buy second hand. There are so many fakes out there you never know who is selling what. You can be sure of the true owners by requesting to see their VIP card.

The demand for these stunning gowns is as high today as ever, everybody wants one.

Ombre Dress $1,667        Amee Ombre Dress $1,450

Winter Warmth

Brunello Cucinelli Cashmere $2,295 Moncler Cable Knit $720

With winter well underway it’s important to keep warm. The thing that most guys forget is that you don’t have to throw on that lumpy old hoodie from your old high school or favorite sports team. These sweaters are extremely versatile and instantly clean up your “I don’t care” look. A cable knit sweater will never ever go out of style. It’s just plain and simple.

Loro Piana Linen Cardigan $627 Rag & Bone Merino Cardigan $370

I love cardigans. If I could only wear cardigans for the rest of winter I would be the happiest person alive. Cardigans are so versatile! Really no matter what you are wearing, they always work! Whether you’re wearing a dress shirt and dress pants or a plaid shirt and jeans – they look great! I’m in love with the Loro Piana grey blue linen cardigan. The grey in it makes it a lot more neutral as opposed to a royal blue. Although I’m a fan of the sloppier look for casual, you have to have a more form fitting one for dressier outfits which is what Rag & Bone is giving us in a beautiful charcoal grey merino wool piece.

Time for Boots

John Varvatos Zip Boot 598.00     Alexander McQueen Cap Toe  798.00

I have the same style of boot as the one on the left and let me tell you, they go with everything! Jeans, khakis, plaid. Anything. The John Varvatos Zip up can double up for a dressier outfit (in the office) while the McQueens are definitely a casual choice. The distressed leather on the McQueens make them extremely versatile. The grey brown leather has almost replaced black and goes with almost anything!

John Varvatos Tugger Boot 898.00    John Varvatos Buckle Boot 798.00

Now these two… I don’t even know where to start. Both are so extremely different. The Tugger Boot could be worn with your pants tucked in or untucked in my opinion while the Buckled ones need to be shown off. They’re both casual pieces and should be the center piece of an outfit especially the beautiful dark brown suede ones.
