The Weekly Bow Tie

This is something that caught my eye the other day while I was pretending to be paying attention in class. It’s so simple and so stylish that I couldn’t help but not post it up for you all to see. The classic v-neck sweater with a twist! Once again, you can never have too many sweaters! This sweater is definitely one that I would consider as a casual choice though. You couldn’t really wear a collared shirt with this sweater since it has a little one already. Nevertheless it’s still major! And how great is the color?? I want this…Screen Shot 2012-12-06 at 11.35.33 PMBurberry Cashmere Raglan Sweater $995

Dreaming of a White Christmas

I was on the Saks Fifth Avenue website today browsing through some of their lines and I came across these amazing pieces. How great are they?! Amazing casual choices that still look nice and put together. All I really want for Christmas is clothes & I can definitely tell you that they’re on my dream wish list… Take a look!

Xmas list 1

I need both of these tops. The blazer and the jacket are everything. Pairing the grey blazer with the light green bottoms was a brilliant choice, how amazing does it look? It looks sooo put together, something I would hope to see on a first date 🙂

Xmas list 2

Great colours and everything looks so put together! Now if only every guy could dress like this! How happy would I be?! How happy would everyone be? There would be a lot of happy people. Happy Monday everyone!!

rag & bone

I’m absolutely in love with this company. I spent most of the afternoon looking through their fall line for both men and women and I have to say, even though this brand is on the mid level end of the price scale it is definitely worth it!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; every guy needs a blazer in his wardrobe. Above are two different styles. On the left is a classic charcoal blazer that is perfect for the stylist professional. The clean lines of the jacket make it a total contender for formal wear. Whether its to a business meeting or a night out at the local pub. On the right is a beautiful dark teal jacket perfect for dress casual. Throw a casual v neck and some dark wash jeans and you have the perfect outfit!

These are some great casual outfits. Whoever said that casual meant wearing jeans and an ugly hoodie was seriously disturbed. Both of these are perfect for a day at school or a day of running errands. The amount of effort it takes to put on outfits like these is next to none so the next time you consider wearing sweatpants and an oversized hoodie to your 8 am class think to yourself, “what would Steven tell me to do?”.

Raw Denim

There has been a long standing argument in my head about spending money on jeans or not. I’ve come to the conclusion that jeans are something you can’t cheap out on. Yes, we’ve all gotten that pair of $30 jeans from H&M or American Eagle.. but how long did they last? Did they stretch out? Did they discolor super fast? Probably.

I recently caved in an bought a pair of Nudie Jeans. I had been eyeing them up for a couple of weeks and then finally caved in and bought a pair. I am in love, and I will be buying only raw denim.

Thin Finn Organic Black Indigo Grim Tim Organic Black Light

Above are the classic styles. The typical “blue jean” look. People under estimate the power of a good pair of jeans. Yes, they can indeed be quite a casual look but with the right addition of nice blazer or a solid dress shirt & bow tie it can instantly become a great dress/casual look.

Thin Finn Organic Dry Heavy Thin Finn Organic Black Ring

Both of these are great additions to a denim collection. I’m currently swooning over the black ones. Super dark denim and black denim is such a great look. Denim is underestimated nowadays because it has been widely considered as a casual look when it’s probably the most versatile piece of clothing in your wardrobe.
